Welcome to West Coast Plants' edible plant nursery.

We specialize in edible perennials, suitable for growing outdoors on central and southern Vancouver Island, BC.

Shop online and pick up your order from us in Errington, BC, or contact us to arrange a time to come shop in person, as our specialty nursery is open by appointment. 

We do our best to have orders ready for pick up the same day the order is placed, and you will receive an email as soon as it's ready.

We do not ship live plants.

We are reducing inventory as we head into winter, but we are already ordering and growing for next year.

Notes from the Nursery:

  • Back in stock: Blackcurrants, Tulameen and Fall Gold raspberries, Nectarines, Desert King figs, Jostaberry, Asian pears, and Purple and Green asparagus.
  • Coming this winter: A custom collection of seeds from our favourite annual varieties grown in the West Coast Plants food garden.
  • Upcoming classes: We will be hosting seed starting classes again this winter, from January-March 2025. Email us to be notified when class dates are available.
