Compact Stella Cherry is a naturally dwarf sweet cherry bred from the famous Stella variety in British Columbia. It produces generous crops of large, dark red cherries with rich, sweet flavour, each tree yielding 30–50 pounds of fruit per year once mature. The fruit ripens in mid-summer, and the compact size of the tree (10–12 ft) makes pruning, harvesting, and even protecting with bird netting far easier than with full-sized cherry trees.

Hardy to Zone 5 (-29ºC), Compact Stella combines the outstanding fruit quality of its parent with a space-saving form perfect for backyards and smaller gardens. It is also self-fertile, so you’ll enjoy reliable harvests from a single tree. Easy to grow and maintain, Compact Stella provides orchard-quality cherries on perfectly sized trees.
