Spineless Caper Bush is a compact, easy-to-grow shrub prized for its flavourful flower buds that can be salted or pickled to create the classic culinary caper, and it's fruit, which are make caper berries.

This thornless selection is especially valued for its ease of handling, prolific bud production, and excellent flavour.

Growing 2–3 feet tall, capers make attractive container plants with grey-green foliage and showy white-purple flowers.

They thrive in sunny, well-drained conditions and are well suited to warm gardens, patios, or greenhouses. Hardy to about Zone 8b (-9ºC), they will need winter protection in most regions in Canada. The small size of the shrub makes it easy to move indoors once cold weather arrives.
