 The Garden

The 7,000-square-foot food garden was built by Mariah and Tim Wilde, beginning in 2014. It includes over 30 raised garden beds, multiple in-ground beds, greenhouses and a 4,700-gallon rainwater harvesting system.

The garden and property feature over 60 species of edible perennial fruits and vegetables, including mulberries, persimmons, pawpaws, figs, pepper trees, hardy kiwis, tayberries, goumi berries, skirret, groundnut and climbing spinach, to name a few! Most annual vegetables are grown from seed, with a special appreciation for and focus on Japanese varieties.

 

 The Farm Stand

In 2022, a farm stand was built to share the garden's bounty with the community. With its cedar shingles and hand-painted signs, it cheerfully welcomes those looking for fresh, local produce.
