Strawberry Trees
An evergreen shrub with dark green leaves and brightly coloured fruit, which ripen from yellow to orange to red. Related to Arbutus trees, Strawberry trees flower very early in the spring. The flowers are high in nectar and pollen and feed bees and hummingbirds at a time when there are few other flowers around.
This is a dwarf variety, growing only 6-8 feet tall.
