Jenny kiwi vines produce brown, fuzzy kiwis, with sweet, green, juicy flesh. The fruit have a tropical flavour, with a perfect amount of sweetness, and a touch of acidity.
Nutrient-rich, and low in calories, kiwi fruit are excellent for fresh eating, juicing, smoothies, baking and preserves.
As a self-fertile kiwi variety, 'Jenny' kiwi vines do not need a separate male pollinator plant to produce fruit. That means you only need one vine. This saves on space, which is helpful as kiwis are large, heavy vines that require a structure to climb, such as a pergola or sturdy trellis.
Plan your planting location, and then plan for bountiful harvests. Mature vines can produce 50-100 pounds of fruit per plant.
