'Framberry' Strawberry Plants
'Framberry' Strawberry Plants
The framberry is a unique strawberry hybrid that has the sweetness and growth habit of a strawberry but a look, flavour and scent reminiscent of raspberries. Often referred to as a "strawberry-raspberry," the taste is balanced, offering a mix of both fruits, with the raspberry flavour adding a more complex and less sugary profile compared to regular strawberries.
Framberry plants grow similarly to strawberries, producing runners and needing well-drained soil with plenty of sunlight. They can be enjoyed fresh or used in desserts, jams, and sauces, adding a distinct flavour twist.
The Framberry is the result of traditional plant breeding via cross-pollination, not genetic engineering or modification.
