Evergreen Huckleberry Plants
Evergreen Huckleberry Plants
Evergreen huckleberry is a small, dense shrub native to the Pacific Northwest. It thrives in coastal forests and shaded areas but can also tolerate sun. Evergreen huckleberry is known for its glossy, dark green leaves and choice edible black berries, which are a favourite of wildlife and can be used in jams and pies. Their flavour is similar to a cross between a red huckleberry and a blueberry. This plant is often valued in landscaping for its year-round foliage and attractive pink flowers, which provide a food source for spring pollinators.
