Size

An attractive, small, evergreen shrub with edible petals and fruit. The flower petals taste like cotton candy and the fruit have a tropical taste, with hints of pineapple, guava, strawberry, mint and quince. Ripe fruit are entirely edible and can be consumed raw or cooked.

Common names: Feijoa, Pineapple Guava, Guavasteen, Brazilian Guavas, Fig Guavas, Guayabo Del Pais

Scientific name: Acca sellowiana (previously Feijoa sellowiana)

Full-grown size: 6-12' tall

Pollination: Partially self-pollinating but in reality you need two different varieties. 
Wildlife: Flowers and fruit attract birds, bees, butterflies.
Origin: South America
