'Triple Crown' Thornless Blackberry: A newer blackberry variety known for its flavour, productivity and vigour. The fruit are large and juicy and have a good sweet-tart balance. This cultivar has a semi-erect growth habit and can be grown as a shrub without support. Grows 6' tall by 2-3' wide. Zone 5. Bred by the US Dept of Agriculture and released in 1998. Harvest early to midseason. Fruits on last year's canes (floricanes). Self-pollinating. Full sun to part sun.
'Black Satin' Thornless Blackberry:Sweet and juicy. Heat tolerant. Excellent fresh or preserved. Medium-large berries. Midseason. Vigorous and disease resistant. Upright, spreading growth habit. Grows 5-6' tall. Zone 5. Pink flowers. Fruits on last year's canes (floricanes). Self-pollinating. Full sun to part sun.
