In addition, the shovel features a lightweight, very durable fiberglass shaft. These changes allow the Root Slayer Perennial Shovel to weigh only 3 lbs 3 oz, making it a tool you'll reach for without hesitation.

The sharpened inverted V cutting tip prevents perennial roots from slipping from underneath the shovel blade while dividing, and means less surface area entering the soil, so even lighter gardeners will find it easy to use.

The patented ergonomic O-handle grip has 4 times the gripping surface of traditional D-handle tools, providing additional leverage while reducing hand and wrist stress.
