'Pink Lemonade' Blueberry Plants
'Pink Lemonade' Blueberry Plants
Pink berries that the birds don't think are ripe! With a sweet, citrusy taste (hence, "Pink Lemonade"), this variety is sure to impress.
Pink flowers are followed by bright pink berries, making this variety an attractive addition to your garden or patio. Happy growing in a container, they also make a great gift.
This variety was developed in 1996 as a cross between Rabbiteye and Highbush blueberries.
Blueberries like acidic soil with good drainage, so prepare and amend your planting location ahead of time, if possible. We sell an organic soil acidifier that can be added to your soil to gradually reduce the pH.
Be sure to see our blog post: Why Blueberries Need Acidic Soil to Thrive.
Pink Lemonade blueberries can be self-pollinated, but will produce more fruit and larger fruit if also pollinated by a different variety.
