Kousa Dogwood Trees
(Available by special order - contact us to order one today.)
The Kousa Dogwood is a flowering deciduous tree with white flowers and red fruit. Like all dogwoods, the 'flowers' are in fact modified leaves.
The fruit is tropical, sweet and earthy, and is usually eaten fresh, with the skin and seeds removed. The flavour has been described as a combination of pumpkin, mango and persimmon - if you can imagine that!
