If you've never tasted a mulberry... here's your chance. Delicious, sweet, juicy, black berries, with a depth of flavour unlike most garden berries. 'Illinois Everbearing' is often considered to be the best tasting mulberry variety.
Mulberries are attractive trees with shiny, green, heart-shapes leaves. The leaves are commonly grown as forage for animals. In fact, mulberry leaves are the sole source of food for silkworms (the caterpillar that makes silk).
