Hazelnut trees require cross-pollination to bear nuts. Here we offer two varieties, Jefferson and Yamhill, which are suitable pollinators for each other.
Jefferson Hazelnut Tree: European variety. Grows 8-12' tall. High disease resistance including resistance to Eastern Filbert Blight. Nuts have great flavour and are large and of high quality.
Yamhill Hazelnut Tree: European variety. Grows to 10' tall with a compact growth habit. Has complete resistance to Eastern Filbert Blight. High yield of large, high quality nuts. This is the variety used by Ferror Roche.
