A Dwarf Bartlett Pear tree is an excellent addition to any food garden, offering high yields of sweet, aromatic pears on a manageable size tree that grows only 8 to 10 feet tall. Like its full-sized counterpart, it produces medium to large, golden-yellow pears with a smooth texture and a rich, honey-like sweetness.

The fruit mature in late summer to early fall, and are harvested while still firm. Ripening the fruit off the tree enhances its texture, increases storage life and prevents over ripening. Unlike some varieties, Bartlett pears undergo a colour change as they ripen, turning from green to yellow.

In addition to its reliable fruit production, the Dwarf Bartlett is self-pollinating, meaning it can bear fruit on its own, though it will produce larger harvests when cross-pollinated with another European pear variety.

Bartlett pears are an excellent choice for fresh eating, canning, and baking due to their juicy texture and well-balanced flavour. With proper pruning and care, this tree will provide abundant harvests for many years.
