'Honeycrisp' Mini-Dwarf Apple Trees
'Honeycrisp' Mini-Dwarf Apple Trees
Mini-dwarf Honeycrisp apple trees will produce full-size apples on trees that only grow 4-6 feet tall.
The Honeycrisp apple tree is a popular fruit tree known for its sweet, honey-flavoured, crisp, and juicy apples, which are a favourite for fresh eating and have excellent storage qualities. The fruit is highly prized for its balance of sweetness and tartness, crunchy texture, and versatility in culinary uses like baking, juicing, or snacking. Honeycrisp apples have a mottled red and yellow skin, with a creamy white flesh that ripens mid to late fall.
Mini-dwarf apple trees are ideal for easy picking, easy pruning, and container gardening. Mini-dwarf apple trees are dwarfed by being grafted to dwarfing rootstock. They produce at an earlier age than full-size apple trees and, due to their small size, you can fit several different varieties in the same space as one standard or semi-dwarf apple tree.
All of the apple varieties we offer (both mini-dwarf and columnar) are suitable varieties for cross-pollinating each other.
